Campaign Story

Hello everyone,

My name is Josephine, and I am a final-year nursing student in the university of Benin. I never imagined I would be in this position of asking for help, but my family and I are going through one of the toughest periods of our lives, and we are barely surviving.

My father is a post-stroke patient who needs daily medication and urgent medical tests from a neurologist. Unfortunately, the cost of his drugs is very high, and the little we manage to buy finishes quickly. We cannot afford the prescribed tests, and this has affected his recovery. All the financial burden is on my mother, who is a small business woman, and it has become overwhelming for her.

As the fourth child in my family, I am trying to complete my nursing degree, but I struggle to keep up. My siblings are also struggling in their own ways, and together, we are just trying to survive each day.

On top of all this, the rent for my family apartment is due, and sometimes, we can barely eat decent meals.

We are humbly reaching out to kindhearted people for help. Any amount you can give will go a long way in buying  my father’s medications and paying for his medical test.
